Laura Culler, Controller
Laura Culler brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset to her role as controller. She values collaboration and integrity and believes that a well-run finance function is essential to building trust and long-term relationships — both with clients and within the team. Her goal is to ensure that Anchor’s financial operations not only support the firm’s day-to-day needs but also lay the groundwork for sustainable growth and strategic decision-making.
A longtime resident of Chapin, S.C., Laura earned dual degrees in business administration and accounting from Presbyterian College. She began her career at McNair Law Firm, P.A., where she spent over two decades in senior leadership roles, including accountant, billing manager, and controller. Her desire to deepen her leadership experience led her into the public sector, where she served as director of finance for the towns of Chapin and Winnsboro. In these roles, she oversaw budgeting, treasury operations and financial reporting — giving her a broad foundation of expertise that she brings to Anchor today.
Outside of work, Laura is a proud soccer mom who loves cheering on her sons at their travel and high school games. She also enjoys long walks and is a passionate Clemson fan. Known for her steady leadership and thoughtful approach to finance, Laura is energized by helping teams thrive, and she’s excited to contribute to Anchor’s continued success.
