Brian Blackwelder, CFP®

Brian joined Anchor Investment Management in May of 2021 after serving in the financial services section of the banking industry. He brings 25 years of financial experience to the team of Anchor Management, specializing in everything from mortgages to wealth management. Brian uses a team-based approach for customizing his clients’ portfolios, leveraging the collective gifts and talents of his colleagues at Anchor Management to create individualized long-term investment strategies.

In 1996, Brian graduated from Presbyterian College with a double major in business administration and accounting. He learned early in his professional experience to always put the client first and work hard to help them meet their financial goals. He also believes in maintaining a positive outlook in the face of adversity.

Brian is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys golf, soccer, and SEC football during his down time.
