“It has been over 30 years that I have been helping clients with their finances and I still enjoy it every day.”
A transplant to Columbia from the Pacific Northwest, Amy brings over 30 years of banking and financial experience to Anchor Investment Management. While in High School in the Federal Way area of Washington State, Amy started her career as a teller at Washington Mutual Bank and knew immediately that her future would be in banking. Along the way, she attended Highline Community College and passed the Series 6 and 63 exams and earned life/accident and health insurance licenses. Challenging herself and ensuring that every customer left the bank happy and pleased to do business there, she progressed and worked her way up the ladder from teller to Licensed Personal Financial Representative.
Married to a Soldier and expecting their fourth daughter, the US Army decided her fate by stationing her family at Fort Jackson in 2006. She was later employed by the Wealth Management Department of Branch Banking and Trust where she served for 12 years as a Wealth Client Specialist and Wealth Associate Relationship Manager. The Perfect Client Experience was always her first priority when working with clients.
Amy is actively involved in her church and enjoys time with her family, her 4 daughters, and 2 grandchildren. Her pastimes include traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
